The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently conducted the 2023 mock examination for candidates preparing to write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The mock examination is an optional test that helps candidates prepare for the main exam by providing them with a feel of what to expect on the actual examination day.
If you took part in the JAMB 2023 mock examination, you can now check your mock result online or via SMS. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to check your JAMB mock result:
Candidates can now easily check their UTME results for 2022 and previous years either online or via SMS. To access your UTME result online, you’ll need a device with an internet connection. Alternatively, for candidates without internet access or those in areas with limited network coverage, the SMS method may be more suitable. However, keep in mind that network operators may charge a fee for this service.
All the candidates who participated in the 2022 UTME and years before can now print their original results slip affixed with their passport photograph. You will need to pay 1,500 to access jamb results slip
Online Method:
- Visit the JAMB official website at www.jamb.gov.ng
- Click on the “Check UTME Mock Results” button or access the JAMB portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEResults.
- Enter your JAMB registration number or email address used during registration in the required field.
- Click on “Check Mock Result”.
SMS Method:
- Ensure that the phone number used during JAMB registration is active and can receive SMS.
- Send an SMS in the format “RESULT” followed by your “JAMB Registration Number” to 55019. For example, if your registration number is 12345678AB, send an SMS in this format: “RESULT 12345678AB” to 55019.
- Wait for a few minutes for your result to be sent to your phone via SMS.
Please note that the JAMB mock result is not considered for admission, but it can be useful in identifying areas that need improvement and in adjusting study plans accordingly.
Congratulations to all candidates who participated in the JAMB 2023 mock examination!
