To be eligible to apply for Obafemi Awolowo University Post UTME 2022, your JAMB score must at least match the OAU Cut Off Mark 2022/2023.

Any candidate who has chosen OAU as their first choice but does not meet the required Cut off mark cannot apply for post UTME for OAU such candidate should consider changing institution.

Candidates that meet the general cut off mark stated in this article must also meet the departmental cut off mark for their courses as highlighted at the end of this post.

What is OAU Cut off Mark?

Most people has already known about what Cut Off Mark is. But for those who didn’t. Don’t worry, I’ll explain it to you.

Cut-Off Mark simply means a certain mark that applicants must score in other to be qualified for admission. If candidate didn’t get the required mark such candidate will not be eligible for admission.

For example, if OAU sets the JAMB cut off mark to 180, any student who scores less than 180 should automatically start thinking about other institutions.

In general, you’re expected to get a higher mark or a precise cut mark in UTME, as this will increase your chances of gaining admission.

Additional information about OAU departmental cut off mark 2022/2023

  1. The OAU JAMB Cut off mark is 200. Applicants must make OAU as their first choice of institution in JAMB.
  2. Applicants must also complete at least 5 credit pass per session in a relevant O’Level subject, such as Math and English.
